Pinnacle sponsors Home Sweet Home and Malta Vibes CS:GO events

Esports bookmaker Pinnacle has sponsored CS:GO events Home Sweet Home and Malta Vibes Ultimate Knockout

According to the release, the two events will look to increase the visibility of Pinnacle’s brand within the CS:GO scene.

As a result of the sponsorship, Home Sweet Home events will now extend up until March 2022. Moreover, the Pinnacle Fall Series I, which will commence on August 23rd, has removed its regional GSL stage in order to avoid clashes with Malta Vibes.

Malta Vibes Ultimate Knockout kicked off on August 16th. In order to avoid scheduling difficulties, the newly branded Pinnacle Fall Series event will now see 16 teams directly invited into the Regional Swiss stage of the tournament.

The release also states that all of the events will remain as a ‘primary distributor’ of points for the Champion of Champions Tour, a shared CS:GO circuit in collaboration with tournament organiser’s Relog Media and Funspark, as well as data platform GRID esports. 

Both Home Sweet Home and Malta Vibes are produced by Relog Media.

Pinnacle informed ESI that the sponsorships are expected to align with the firm’s objectives. This includes providing a greater betting experience to customers, as well as improving engagement across the company’s owned and third-party digital touchpoints.

Some of the teams invited to the Pinnacle Fall Series I include Young Ninjas, Galaxy Racer, Movistar Riders, Endpoint, Sprout, and Funplus Phoenix.

GRID will continue to support the tournament as the official data partner across all of Pinnacle’s sponsored events.

Esports Insider says: Having Pinnacle sponsor Home Sweet Home and Malta Vibes is a smart move as the bookmaker looks to expand its brand within CS:GO. Given Pinnacle’s existing relationship with GRID and the Champion of Champions Tour, the deal makes sense. It’ll be interesting to see how the bookmaker is integrated into the events going forward.
